Te Toiotua Workshop | Building Communities with Facebook Groups Have you thought about building a stronger community either for your class, club, business, whanau, marae, or personal interest?

Facebook groups is a powerful tool to help you achieve this online.

Why? Because most people have a Facebook account, and if they don’t, it’s very easy for them to set one up to participate in your group.

Facebook groups can be public, private, and even secret. So whatever your Kaupapa, this tool can help you build a stronger community online to help move it forward.

Use this tool to build brand loyalty, increase potential customer numbers, or to gather people from all walks of life who are interested in a particular issue or subject.

Attend this workshop to learn how to build and manage a successful community online using Facebook groups.

Who should attend: Anyone including Kaimahi, Kaiako, Tauira, Ahikōmako and community members.

Requirements: Bring your own laptop or borrow a laptop from the lab for the exercise part of the session.
